As I indicated, the official dates for the
reunion is now 13-14-15 and 16 May 2010 Arrival dates will be 13 and 14
May 2010
Location will be the Marriott Centerport in
FT Worth Texas which is located right In the middle of Fort Worth and
Dallas. This is a relative new property so the facilities are excellent.
I have negotiated a room rate of $89.00
(Normal Cost is $219.00) I have 4 rooms available for the 13th
and 49 rooms for the 14th and 15th for the
negotiated rate.
I need to know if you will come in the
afternoon or evening of the 13th, so that I can ask for more
rooms at the low rate for the 13th.
Things you might consider. Air fares will
most likely be less if you fly in on Thursday than on Friday. You might
look at the difference in air savings and the room cost. You need to let
me know so that I can get an agreement from the hotel on the r ates for
the 13th.

To date we have 50 Warriors and 28
significant others. That have confirmed. Or last reunion we had a total
of 49 and some significant others. I still have not heard from a few
that were there last time, I anticipate that we will have about 75+ 1/27
marines there. Call your friend and fellow Marines and make them aware.
There are a lot that I have bad email addresses for.
Transportation to the hotel will be courtesy
of the Hotel.
Transportation in the metropolis will be via
the local city transit service which you can get for $1.50 a day if
you’re over 65 and $3.00 a day if you’re younger. The transportation is
excellent.
No need for a car rental unless you plan to
go out of the metropolis.
